According to the attached URL, the red disk is on top of the green field, offset slightly toward the hoist so that it appears centered when the flag is flying.

I heard a guy on the NYC subway singing it late one night as we were heading out the exit. He was a very haunting singer…. and it made me want to hear more! I just don’t know where to start looking and who to look for.
