Last night I consumed a beer that was more delicious due to sheer ridiculousness than any alchemy of hops, water, and yeast. Ladies and gentlemen…

The Domestic Brew

It tasted light; some would claim it is like Corona, but I didn’t believe it for a minute (I think I like this beer more). So why ridiculous? After all, the can was not some absurd color or shape, the name was not innovative but not ridiculous, and the taste was okay enough. An explanation:

The Details

I’ve had beer from all over the world, but really, a beer brewed in Pakistan — from a brewery that has been operating since 1861? Wow. One thing immediately crossed my mind: can you imagine the odor of a South Asian brewery?

I’m going to try not to.
